Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Service – THE place to take your dog in an emergency. Wherever you live, no matter how close someone else is, if it’s an emergency, take your dog here. There is no equal in the Louisville area. Also full of the finest specialists in the area.

The Humane Society’s Health Pet Clinic – offers annual vaccinations for $37, which includes a wellness exam by licensed vets. Rabies, DA2PP and bordetella are the vaccines in this package. Canine Influenza is available as well. $10 nail trims; microchipping ($25) and $90 annual heartworm chews make keeping your dog current on vaccines very affordable. They’re on Steedly Drive, open Tuesday-Saturday on walk-in basis.
